Llinella, Maja Cunningham
I grew up in former Yugoslavia and moved to the United States in 2000 as a war refugee. Here, I studied architecture, then recently began to create my own art while working as a full-time mother to my now four-year-old son Jack. Linella was born when Jack was born. Becoming a mother made me realize my (second) biggest dream of all: venturing into the art world. With almost two decades of either studying or working within the architectural industry, I made the difficult yet not so difficult decision to switch fields. The joys of rediscovery and the daily storytelling that comes with being a mother to a very curious boy, seem to always find their way to my work. Each piece has a memory attached to it, a story or multiple stories combined into one. They are production of time, memories but mostly the greatest and most unconditional of loves.

Hello! I am pleased to introduce myself as the personality behind Shiny Penny Studio. After years of work, this freelance studio is my little dream that could, becoming not only my creative outlet but my day job as well.
A childhood love of books led me to study creative writing and art in hopes of writing and illustrating my own books. However, the magic of children’s book illustrations captured my imagination and hasn't let go. Illustration became my true passion, with an emphasis on the cute or clever - the quirkier the better. I find I am most inspired when given a challenge to create something specific and unique. My style is fanciful and whimsical with a pinch of modern.
When not drawing or designing you can find me spending time with my husband and our pup, honing my baking skills and enjoying coffee, or taking a walk around the park hoping it will count as a workout.

See That There, Simona Cavallaro
I'm a modern artist, graphic designer, mommy to an awesome kid, compulsive tea drinker, and perpetual learner. My art and design style is fresh, modern, sometimes whimsical, sometimes moody, and always innovative.
